Implementing the International Bank Account Number (IBAN) system in Sudan

In the framework of adherence to international standards and to facilitate banking transactions, the Central Bank of Sudan has sent a decision to all commercial banks to apply the international bank account number in Sudan, provided that customers are handed an IBAN for conducting foreign transfers up to the end of 2021, so that the IBAN number is approved for transactions starting from the first year of 2022.
