142 suspected cases of corona were recorded, 42 of them are confirmed and 6 deaths within 24 hours

Dr. Montaser Muhammad Othman, Deputy Director of the General Department of Emergencies and Epidemics at the Ministry of Health announced the spread of the Corona pandemic in the eastern states of Sudan, “Gedaref, the Red Sea, Kassala”, the Nile River, North Darfur and part of North Kordofan.

On the “Sudan Free of Corona” platform, he said that the number of treatment centers available in the country was 38, 13 of them in Khartoum State, recognizing the lack of oxygen in some states, which affected the transfer of patients from one state to another, where the patients were transferred from Gedaref to the state of Gezira.
