Chairman of the Sovereignty Council meets the delegation of Al Maktoum Charitable Organization

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, was briefed on the great role played by the Al Maktoum Charitable Organization to support development projects in Sudan.

During his meeting in his office, Al-Burhan, praised the delegation of the authority headed by Mr. Mirza Hussain Al-Sayegh, Member of the Board of Trustees and Director of the Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of #Dubai, in the presence of the Emirati ambassador in Khartoum Hamad Mohammed Al-Junaibi.

With the charitable work carried out by the authority, especially its support for the agricultural project in the state of the River Nile, which targets about 4,500 families in the state, and its contribution to building and rebuilding schools in Khartoum State, Darfur and West Kordofan states.

For his part, a member of the Board of Trustees of Al Maktoum conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the government and people of Sudan, confirming the continuation of support for development projects in Sudan and support for higher education and scientific research.

He pointed out that the projects were placed within the authority’s budgets on the recommendation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, describing the family and humanitarian support.
