Hamdok: Sudan will provide all support and assistance to neighboring Ethiopia to overcome its current crisis

Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok, affirmed Sudan’s support for neighboring Ethiopia to overcome all its crises.

Hamdok said, “I followed the meeting of the United Nations Security Council that took place on the second of this July on Ethiopia, and I agreed with the positions that were expressed, especially by the African member states of the Council regarding the consolidation of a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire, and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Tigray region, and to conduct a comprehensive national dialogue that does not exclude anyone in order to preserve the unity, security and stability of Ethiopia, Sudan, for its part, will provide all support and assistance to the brotherly neighbor Ethiopia to overcome its current crisis.
