Hemedti and Mohamed bin Zayed discuss bilateral, regional and international issues in Abu Dhabi

The Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo “Hemedti”, met today at Al Bahr Palace in Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
The meeting discussed Sudanese-Emirati relations and ways to support and enhance them in all fields to serve the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries, in addition to joint cooperation in all bilateral, regional and international issues and the importance of joint coordination between them in all forums.
Hemedti expressed Sudan’s condemnation of the repeated Houthi attacks on the UAE, which constitute an explicit threat to international peace and security, and to the security and stability of the region in particular, stressing that Sudan stands by the Emirati people in the face of everything that threatens the security and safety of its territories.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan valued the brotherly Sudan’s position and solidarity with the UAE towards the Houthi terrorist attack, expressing his hope that stability and development for Sudan and its people would be achieved. His Highness affirmed his country’s commitment to continue supporting Sudan and its people in order to achieve peace, stability and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, H.H. Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and Lieutenant-General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan , Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination.
