Medical equipment from the Emirates for Ahmed Qasim Hospital

On Monday, the UAE Red Crescent handed over Ahmed Qasim Hospital for Cardiac Surgery and Kidney Transplantation with medical supplies and equipment as part of its humanitarian aid project in Sudan.

The aid included a number of medical and electrical beds, medical aids and wheelchairs.

Dr. Hoda Hamid, Director of Ahmed Qasim Hospital, thanked the government and people of the UAE for their strong stand with Sudan, noting that this aid will cover a large part of the hospital, which is the first hospital in heart and kidney surgery in Sudan.
