Prime Minister Robley apologizes to the UAE and receives aid it provided to help the Somali people

Today, Friday, Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Robley formally apologized to the UAE for the incident that occurred in April 2018, and promised to hand over the money to the UAE government in the near future.

Robley, in the presence of Relief Minister Khadija Mohamed Dire, received aid from the United Arab Emirates at an event held at Mogadishu International Airport to relieve the drought-stricken people of Somalia.

Prime Minister Robley thanked the UAE government for its support to the Somali people and said that his government is committed to strengthening the historical relations between the two brotherly countries.
