Officially.. the African qualifiers for the “Qatar 2022” World Cup have been postponed

FIFA announced, in an official statement, on Thursday, the postponement of the African qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

FIFA said in its statement: “In cooperation with the African Union, and given the current situation affected by the Corona pandemic and the need to ensure ideal playing conditions for all teams, it was decided to postpone the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, which was scheduled to take place in June 2021”.
