Somalia receives from the UAE 26 tons of humanitarian aid for drought-affected relief

Today, Friday, a cargo plane from the UAE arrived at Mogadishu International Airport, carrying 26 tons of humanitarian aid intended for those affected by the drought that hit some areas in the country.

The Somali News Agency stated that the Somali Minister of Relief and Disaster Management, Khadija Mohamed Derby, received the aid consisting of foodstuffs, blankets, and medicines to relieve the afflicted, and expressed her thanks to the UAE government for providing humanitarian aid.
