Calls for Friday’s demonstrations in the capital, Mogadishu

The Federation of Somali Presidency Candidates announced that demonstrations will take place on Friday, February 26th, in the famous “Daljirka Dahsoon” Square.

The leaders of the Candidates’ Union called on the Somali people to support the demonstration arena, for the sake of democracy and just demands and to increase pressure on the illegal Farmajo government, the “interim transitional government”, and to achieve the legitimate goals and demands that are represented in holding free and fair elections on time.
