Minister of Interior: Treatments for road problems that cause fatal accidents

The Minister of Interior, Ezz El-Din Al-Sheikh, renewed the ministry’s keenness and interest in achieving traffic safety on expressways and internal roads, as well as the interest in finding the necessary remedies for road problems that cause fatal traffic accidents.
During a meeting with the Director of the General Traffic Department, Major General Muddathir Abdul Rahman, the Sheikh indicated interest in activating traffic safety programs and having expertise in developing the necessary traffic treatments by applying traffic technology for the purpose of safety of road users.
The Minister of Interior listened to a detailed report on the situation of implementing traffic safety for previous years, and the Minister of Interior praised the great efforts that the General Traffic Department continued to make in the flow and regulation of traffic on the roads.
