Qatar has supported Sudan with five relief planes for Ethiopian refugees in eastern Sudan, which is a relief and medical group and beds for Al-Abyad Hospital.

The delegation received the aircraft at Khartoum International Airport, the Acting Chargé d’Affairs, Talal Al-Enezi, Ambassador Ali Al-Hammadi, Secretary-General of the Qatari Red Crescent and the Military Attaché of the Embassy of the State of Qatar Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Mannai, and the representative of the Prof Siddiq Tower office, a member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Mr. Asaad Jalal.
